Legislators from five states met in Hudson, New York, to explore the possibility of creating a multi-state initiative on agriculture and forestry sequestration. Participants heard from experts in soil health and agricultural and forestry carbon markets, and discussed plans for a potential regional conference in 2020 for northeastern state officials.
